Nik Theodore

Professor of Urban Planning and Policy; Senior Associate of the Great Cities Institute, UIC

Nik Theodore is Professor of Urban Planning and Policy as well as a Senior Associate of the Great Cities Institute at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has held posts as visiting professor at the University of Johannesburg, University of Manchester and York University. His research focuses on low-wage labor markets, migration, and urban inequality. His forthcoming book with Jamie Peck is entitled Fast Policy: Experimental Statecraft at the Thresholds of Neoliberalism (University of Minnesota Press).
