Brad Harrington

Executive Director, Boston College Center for Work & Family

Brad Harrington is Executive Director of the Boston College Center for Work & Family (CWF) and a research professor in the Carroll School of Management. His research and teaching focus on career management and work-life integration, the changing role of fathers, and contemporary workforce management strategies. He is the lead author of Career Management and Work-Life Integration and The New Dad, a 7-year research series exploring the changing role of fathers in the workplace and at home. His most recent study, How Millennials Navigate Their Careers, was conducted with 1100 young adults working in one of five, Fortune 500 organizations.

Prior to his arrival at Boston College in 2000, Harrington was an executive with Hewlett-Packard Company for 20 years serving in global business leadership roles in the US and Europe.

Harrington is a graduate of Stonehill College and holds advanced degrees in psychology and human resource development from Boston College and Boston University. He and his wife, Dr. Annie Soisson, are the proud parents of three children: Maggie, a rising senior at Boston College (21), Hannah (18), and Dillon (15) and live in Winchester, Massachusetts.
