Beth Gutelius

Beth Gutelius, Ph.D has done research that has focused on low-wage labor markets and global supply chains. She was most recently Research Associate at the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, where she undertook research on pressing contemporary issues, including the changing nature of work and employment. A founding advisory board member of the Labor Research and Action Network, Gutelius now works with advocates, philanthropists, and scholars to develop original research projects and to analyze emerging trends in order to inform efforts to strengthen workers’ rights. A long-time Chicagoan, Beth is currently taking a break from the Midwest in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
